Today before dinner, the Babe was in the other room being very quiet (which means he's into something he's not supposed to be).
I said, "Babe, what are you doing?"
He ran into the livingroom and said, "Mommy, I'm not eating candy."

LOL, i love it when they come up with overly transparant lies like that.
My 2yo has started to automatically say 'I didn't do it!' the moment she knocks something down or whatever :)
