Happy Birthday America!

We had a great 4th of July and did a couple of things that were fun! First, I wanted to congratulate Melissa on her new job and tell her good luck in Arkansas! She is going to be a bigdog for Walmart and we are all thrilled for her! Now we just need to get her married....lol

We have finally made time to go to a baseball game this summer and play on the beach. We're going to go to LA for the weekend of the 21st. We've never really been to LA so any suggestions on places to go, or things to see would be greatly appreciated.

Last night, we wanted to watch fireworks but didn't really know where to go. So we drove up to a higher part of Vegas and watched the valley. It was fun! We were surprised at how many illegal fireworks people were doing (not that we care that they are illegal). There were tons of just one little firework here or there. In Utah, usually you'll see that occasionally but for the most part the city show is the big thing. It was fun though! The Babe really likes fireworks well kind of. He loved doing them the other night because all we bought was fountains and sparklers. But the neighbors were doing ones that made loud noises and he got scared. He was really cute though. We told him that yesterday was America's Birthday and he sang Happy Birthday all day.
