Isn't it nice to sometimes have a night out? This weekend the hubby and I went for a much needed date. We went this cute place called The Cheesecake Factory. We'd heard about it from friends as being pretty good. So we braved the 30-minute wait to get in on a Saturday night. They had the most enjoyable outdoor eating area with heaters and candles on the tables. It was very romantic. The hubby and I sat and ate great bread and had adult conversation for a while. We ordered and ate. The food wasn't that great but the cheesecake is actually pretty good. We are big New York Cheesecake connisseurs.
Afterwards, we went to Target and did a little shopping. It was weird. We didn't have a cart or a child in tow. We browsed. How cool is that? We really didn't have anything in particular that we were shopping for, just browsing. It was nice.
Anyway we came home and the lovely babysitter had both our kids in bed, the house looked exactly the way I left it, and she was ready to go. It was great! The hubby paid her and took her home. Perhaps we should do that more often honey! hint hint
